Well been very busy. I have been to Quincy, OH and Cincinnati, IL in the last two weeks.

Well we finally found a house... We are having one built. The contracter who built the house we liked in my last post had a nice little peice of land with a pond behind it that he said he could build almost the exact same house on it. So they staked the postion out on the house this week and we went and approved it last night. So they are supposed to break ground next week. We also went and picked out our lighting for inside and outside the house. Next is the brick and the tile they are going to use.

No fun stuff to report, since I have been working alot. I have been watching Full Metal Alchemist thanks to Phlome. THis weekend some friends and I are going to the Renissance Faire in Muskogee if its not downpooring.

If I can find some pics of what the house is going to look like I will post them later.

Well I finished physical therapy for the moment. My knee will still not bend completely the way it should, I may have to go back to physical therapy again, I have more weird exercises I have to do at the moment.

Went to NJ for 3 days, had great pizza :D. Saw the Statue of liberty from a distance forgot my camera yay me.

We have been looking for houses for awhile now and go back and forth on a few. Last week we found one that was great. Right price on 1 acre of land, alas it had been put under contract an hour before we got to it. :P . Going to look a few more houses this evening, I think we are going to end up living in Owasso.

Went and hung out with Zero and crew for the weekend. Played a pretty cool game called Apples to Apples Friday night and had a few beers. Saturday night saw Phantom of the Opera. I think I liked it the first time a saw it better, this time just didn't seem as spectacular. Sunday we had a great time. We went to Scarborough Faire and ate giant turkey legs, assorted meat on sticks, and a few barley pops were imbibed. Watched some jousting competions, and a few sword fights. Got our family crest made which was pretty interesting.

This weekend... Easter. Family, food and house cleaning. YAY

Started Physical Therapy for my knee last Friday and boy is it a hoot. I have to go for the next 2 weeks 3 days a week and do weird pilaltes leg stretches at home.

I am also realizing that I am getting older. St Paddy's day just had no umph. Made it out about 8 had a few beers got annoyed because it was to loud to talk and their beer sucked. Ended up going home about 11.

I can remember my best St. Paddy's me and a group of my friends sat at Eskimo Joes from noon until about 6 drinking cheap beer then went home and napped went back out for Karaoke at about 10 that night. Oh energy of youth why do you forsake me.

Watched "Good Night and Good Luck" and "History of Violence" on Saturday. I wasn't overly impressed but they weren't bad either. GN&GL was good in the fact that I never knew the story of Murrough and McCarthy. HOV was good in that it was a good old hidden past guy beats ass type movie.

Sunday played Warhammer Fanatasy with some friends of mine which I had not done in many years. Liked the new system they made.

THis week mainly PT and office work. My roommate from OKC is getting married Saturday so I am headed down there for that. Next week looks like I get to go to NJ for 3 days for work. Never been anywhere near New York so I may try to make time to go see the Statue of Liberty.

Well I have been released from my medical restrictions so I can travel for work again. YAY! I hate sitting at my desk.

Vegas was great. Gambled, saw Avenue Q, which was pretty funny. Before Avenue Q started a group of people sat down next to us and one of them looked really familiar. Low and behold it was Aisha Tyler, who is now on "Ghostwhisperer" I mostly remebered her from Talk Soup and being on Friends. It was kinda cool to see a celeb. We also saw the guy from he 1st season of the Bachelor, but I don't really consider him a celeb. Went to a neat "pub" called Nine Fine Irishmen.

This week back to the grind. Have inlaws coming in this week. I get to have my root canal finished today ... yay. Helping Zero and his Fiance move some stuff this weekend, and picking a room at my dads house and cleaning it out this weekend.

Other than that ST. Paddys Day... WOOT!

Well been out of the loop for a bit. Many doctors and Dentist appointments to go to.

Last week I went To Arizona for Kal-el's wedding. Had a good time got to hang out with some friends I hadn't seen in awhile. Went and saw "UltraViolet" while I was there. Horrible... no story. Things thrown in just to make a fight scene.

this weekend I am going to Vegas for my birthday. It was supposed to be a surprise but Donut let it slip when I was in Dallas in January. Then I tried to not let the wife know that I knew but I slipped. I will be a good time we are staying 3 nights and going to go see "Avenue Q" while we are there.

Not all of that much going on really. Got my new computer which is great. Been reading a lot. Watching some movies. I have really gotten into Full Metal Alchemist.

Well no knee surgery for me. The doc said amazingly I only tore the soft tissue around my knee cap so I pretty much just gotta take ibuprofen and ice pack it every day. Walking a lot better.

Well last weekend I did absolutely nothing it was grand. The wife went to visit her sister for the weekend. So I stayed home and fixed some things around the house.

Watched the whole first season of Battle Star Galactica. Now I gotta wait for this season to end to watch the second. Goku and Big D came over and hung out Saturday night for a bit drank a few beers and watched Underworld.

I went out and got the wife a whole bunch of candles and bath and body for V-Day, but gave them to her last night when she got home , which she didn't seem to mind.

This week 3 trips to the dentist and trying to decide if we are going to buy a new house or keep my dads and remodel it. Trying to figure which is more cost effective.

Gravity is not my friend.

Well its been awhile. Went to TX to work ended up falling from about a twelve foot heighth, injuring my knee and losing some teeth. I am doing better now. SO the highpoint of the TX weekend was getting to go to the Bavarian Grill with Demi, Zero, KB, and Donut. After that was pain, medication and driving back to Oklahoma.

I was of work all last week, mostly playing WoW. I think I will be having knee surgery in my near future and I get to get teeth implants wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

SO here I sit at work able to not do much but fill out reports and keep my leg propped up. :P

Watched In Her SHoes and Cursed last week. Both Sucked. ALthough I didn't really expect much from Cursed. Werewolf movie with Cristina Richie (sp?)

No travelling anywhere for work for awhile. GOing to AZ in March for Kal-el's wedding. Still waiting on my Computer. Dell speed it up...

I just ordered my new computer. Dell is running a great 18 month no intrest and I found a coupon online for 10% off... So i figured no better time than now. HaRdCoRe 600 but customized =)

Still in the process of cleaning out the house, I found two partial boxes of the Game "Dark Tower" in my old room between them I think I have a full game, when we were little me and Zero got so good at this game we didn't even need the board anymore.

Have a contracter coming to appraise my dads roof at 9AM Friday morning, then I am headed to TX. Think we are gaming Sunday but its been almost a year since we last played so I have no idea where we are. Oh and Zero.. you should make chili... hint

This is where I was on Monday through Wednesday, because Continental airlines changed my ticket without telling me. <3 them. Not a whole lot in Buffalo Rock its right next to Birmingham which I was going to go check out, but after sitting in airport trying to find me a flight i was just annoyed so I went and ate really good BBQ and had a few beers WOOT.

I think me and the wife are going to buy my dads house after we settle his estate. So this weekend we are renting a dumpster to start cleaning it out. Well at least the garage. My dad was a bit of a packrat. We are also moving the rest of our stuff from OKC down here on Saturday that is the main reason for cleaning the garage.

Hmmm on the geekyer side of things I have become addicted to Temple of Elemental Evil for the pc and have been playing that in my spare time. Along with WoW as always.

Next week I get to go do a Job in Mesquite, TX which is only about 30 minutes from Zero and crew so I am going to go hang with them for the weekend.

Next month I get to go to IL, GA, and NJ so excited...

and our friend Goku for those that kno him by that has a blind date tonight so wish him luck... or harass him.. thats what i been doing :)

Well I have been out of the loop for a bit, been traveling quite a bit for work. Been to Colorado, Ohio, and Canada in the last 2 weeks. Once again it always strikes me funny to actually here how much Canadians say Eh. Next week Alabama.

Nothing to exciting on the home front. Just finished watching the 4th season of the Shield. Great show.

My wife's dog Smokey passed away last week. He was 10 years old had a tumor in his stomach and congestive heart failure. It was his time. It was very weird though we had been talking about putting him to sleep and finally made and appointment, I took off work early to go take him. I got home and gave him some dog treats and let him go for a walk one last time, walking on our way back up to the house he stopped and wouldn't walk anymore, so I picked him up to carry him, he all of a sudden seized up started gasping for air, so I sat down and held him, and that was it he gave his last little quiet breath. I think he knew where he was going, and I think he didn't want it to be our fault. He was a good dog.

On a better note we still have 2 dogs and a cat. Harley the overgrown miniature schnauzer, Sadie the wonder Boxer, and Khali the one eyed no necked cat.( Seriously) I just wish the dogs would stop eating the cats litter. :P

Nothing like a 50 lb boxer running to jump in your lap with kitty litter pebbles falling from her mouth.

Well haven't posted in awhile, been travelling lots for work. Was in Denver Tuesday and Wednesday last week then i was in Knoxville , TN all weekend. This week I go to Wisconsin.

Got back yesterday morning and managed to get out with the wife. Went and had some Hideaway pizza eemmmmmmmmmmm. Then went and saw Narnia. It was great exactly as I remebered the books. Made me remeber when I was about 9 or 10 the Tulsa PAC put on a performance of Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe, and I thought it was the greatest thing when I was little. This weekend , a good friend of mine from OKC is coming to stay with us, so probally go out one night.

Works pretty slow today just filling out reports from all the jobs last week and catching up on my online comics.

Pat Morita died on Thanksgiving...

Had a good vacation. Lots of Family lots of food. Off to Denver beginning of next week then I go to Knoxville at the end of the week.

Saw "Walk the Line" yesterday with Zero, his girlfriend , the wife and my mom. It was pretty good. Phoenix did a great job as Cash, and I have never really thought Reece was a very pretty lady, but after this role it changed my opinion.

Going house Hunting this weekend and staying at home. I am tired of driving everywhere. So Christmas .... I am staying home. :)

Been a busy week so far. Meetings all day today. No travel till December though. Then pretty much I will be gone to Denver and Knoxville for a week. January I may get to go to Arizona so I am somewhat excited about that since I have some good friends there.

Me and the Wife have 3 dogs which I really need to post pictures of and keep forgetting. But the oldest one Smokey doesn't look like he is going to make it much longer. He is almost 10 years old and is retaining lots of fluids next to his lungs and making it hard for him to breath let alone lay down and sleep. I am dreading of having to have the conversation with the wife that we may have to have him put to sleep. We have already seen 3 vets and they have said there is not much you can do for him.

On to happier things, my dad is doing much better, and is more alert than I have seen him in months.

I am ready for thanksgiving , get to have a mini vacation of sorts since I am only working 2 days next week. Going to hang with Zero, the inlaws are coming in and we are going to the casino. Then off to the OU/OSU game for the weekend. Which should be a good game considering they both suck this season. Oh Red is also supposed to come in and I am going to try and make it to lunch with her.

Well I am back. Had to go to North Carolina on Saturday for a job, came back and left again Tuesday for a Job in Denver, and got back last night. Nothing exciting to tell except at the plant in Denver, I got to see the plant engineer get covered in carbon. He had removed a manway from the top of there filtration vessel so we could add carbon to the vessel. We installed the carbon and when I was finished asked him if he wanted me to replace the man way cover and he said no he would get it. Well 30 minutes later they go to start there system and blow about 20-30 gallons of carbon out the manyway on the top of the vessel covering the engineer. Good times.

In between travel been playing some WoW, been really getting into my rogue on alliance side I can deal out hella damage.

My dad wasn't doing to well at the beginning of the week so Zero came in to hang out at the hospital with him while I was out of town. Headed to OKC this weekend for football and a friends birthday party. Don't have to travel again till December so I am looking forward to a mini vacation over Thanksgiving.

The Resort Where we stayed.

Well glad to be back. Jamacia was great fun, but only for a visit.

The wedding was great, went off with out to many problems. Our Photographer took great pictures, but was dubbed the Nazi photographer by the end of the night. I will post a bunch of pics to Flickr later on so people can see.

Honeymoon was great, we missed the Hurricane and it only rained for the 1st 2 1/2 days we were there. After that it was sunny. Did lots of Snorkling and climbed a waterfall. Drank lots of Red stripe which i never want to see again.

We got back last week but we had a death in the family and went out of town for that. Then I was on site for work the rest of the week.

Went to a Halloween Party Saturday night which I will post pictures of also. I went as the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail (complete with arm that would come off). The wife went as Moonlit Fairy which was very HOT!

This week work writing thank you notes for gifts, and Headed to North Carolina on Friday for work.

Wedding is in a little more than a week. I was told a million times just go have a wedding for you and her somewhere and come back and have a reception.... I wanted to do this. Kirsten Dunst let the cat out of the bag. Or should that be spider? While promoting her new film "Elizabethtown" last weekend, Dunst disclosed a secret Sony Pictures has been trying to keep quiet for some time: which villains previously announced cast members Topher Grace and Thomas Haden Church will be playing in "Spider-Man 3." According to Dunst, Grace will play Venom and Church will play the Sandman. In the comics, Venom is an alien-hybrid who originally appeared as a new costume for Peter Parker before eventually trying to merge with him. What Venom's powers will be in the movie is completely unknown, but he was pretty hard to kill in the comics. The Sandman has the power to turn into "living sand" and you can easily guess it will require a lot of CGI. Dunst also said production is expected to begin this January for the May 2007 release.

And then there is this...

Last month, Marvel Entertainment (formerly Marvel Comics) announced a financial arrangement with Merrill Lynch in which it disclosed 10 new titles that were being developed for feature films. These pictures will be independently produced by Marvel and distributed by Paramount Pictures. Nevertheless, with so many of their top characters already acquired by other studios, Marvel is going to have a challenge on its hands with what's left. Here is a quick rundown.
Captain America Who: Accidentally frozen in ice after World War II and revived in modern times, the ultimate patriot has a super soldier serum coursing through his blood that gives him super strength and stamina. Question: You have to wonder whether America will be in the mood for this kind of hero today, because the rest of the world won't be.
The Avengers Who: Marvel's "Justice League," this long-time superhero group features a couple of heroes whose rights are not tied up at other studios including Ant-Man, Wasp, Captain America, Wonder Man, Ms. Marvel ... and lots more. Question: Can this group sell without founding members Iron Man, Hulk and Thor included?
Nick Fury Who: He's a bad ass American James Bond with much cooler gadgets.Question: The comic book version of Fury is in his early to mid 40s (at least). Does casting younger kill the charm of the character?
Black Panther Who: A man returns to Africa to reclaim his birthright and a secret kingdom. Question: Does he keep his mystical background or does he end up an African-American version of "The Punisher"? Ant-Man Who: Henry Pym discovered a way to shrink to insect size and communicate with ants. Question: Do people really want to see a movie about this guy? When you think about it, it's sort of gross.
Cloak and Dagger Who: Two very cool characters from the '80s that were cursed with their powers by the drugs they were addicted to. Now they are vigilantes fighting the drug suppliers that created them. Question: Can Marvel resist the temptation to ignore the heavy nature of the original series?
Dr. Strange Who: The ultimate master of the mystic arts. Question: It's going to cost a lot of money for CGI to do this movie right. Can Marvel afford that on its own?
Hawkeye Who: Another punk character with a chip on his soldier, perhaps because he has no special power other than his amazing archery skills. Question: He's currently dead in the comics and it's archery. Do people care?
Power Pack Who: Two brothers and two sisters are given special powers from an alien that looks like a horse (really). Question: How do you avoid making it play like "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl" and take it closer to "Spy Kids" instead? Shang-ChiWho: A Kung Fu master who predated Bruce Lee when the martial arts boom was just about to hit. Question: By today's standards the character is pretty old school. How does he become as cool as warriors in modern favorites like "Hero" and "Kung Fu Hustle"?

Out of all of these I would go see Cloak and Dagger.

OK Dammit I finally started watching "Firefly" and now I am sucked in. I wanted to watch it before the movie comes out but it really sucks knowing that after this box set that that's it. :P

In other news my trip to Rhode Island has been canceled due to some new genius they have at the plant I was going to. Something to due with him over pressurizing a filter tank and blowing the lid off. Now I am driving my Dads van "also known as the short-bus" to Watonga to cart all of our flowers for the wedding back here. Also stopping off in OKC to watch OU.

Friday it will be 3 weeks until the wedding. People keep asking me if I'm nervous... No not about getting married. Yes about standing in front of 130-150 people. Don't know why ... I used to have to stand up and give speeches in grad school. Maybe i'm just outta practice. Everthing is done, we are just paying people off now. We are going to Jamacia for the honeymoon for a week, so I hope thats fun.

This weekend is my last weekend until the begginning of November that I don't have something planned. Well kinda have something planned ,but its a friends Birthday and we are going to McNellies.(for some reason my link won't work) its a pub in Tulsa.

Next weekend I will be in Rhode Island all weekend for work. The next in Texas. The next getting married. The next Jamacia. And Finally back to TX for Halloween party... Hopefully.

Well, very glad I get to spend this coming weekend at home. I have been gone the last 2 and I will be gone the following for work.

Well OU barely pulled it off, they were struggling hard in the beginning and if it wasn't for Peterson they would have got the shaft. Next week my bet is on UCLA.

Invitations for the wedding are done and being sent out today... hopefully, the Lady is in charge of that.

THis coming weekend is filled with beer and geekdom. Zero is coming in Friday and we'll probally watch the game. Saturday night meeting up with some friends for Karoke and Sunday a bunch of guys I used to hang out with in Highschool and play DnD with are getting together again... To play Dnd. Should be fun.

Nothing to exciting went on this weeek. One of our big clients is having some internal issues between workers and corprate and its overflowing to us. Going to the OU game tomorrow. If they lose to TU this season is pretty much over.

Drove to OKC Friday and watched OU in probally there worst game to date under Stoops. Drank lots o beer. went back to future sister in laws house and had shrimp and steaks and napped.

Sunday drove back started working on cleaning my dads house out.

Never relized how much junk was in my old room. Found a chemistry set that I got for christmas like in the 80s and found that some of the chemicals had spilled or broken and had begun eating through the box and the shelf it was on. Not so sure this was the greatest gift for a 9 year old. Found some sweet old toys. M.A.S.K., AirRaiders,and Visionaries toys. Visionaries was awsome if you don't remeber it. Kinda set in the future with lazers and things but each guy had a powered suit of armor that could change them into an animal, such as a wolf or bear or armidillo. Yes mind you armidillos can be viscious.

Continued cleaning on Monday and got all of our invitations put together to be sent out this week.

So far this week hasn't been fun.

We went to get our engagement pictures last night but apparently I had the wrong date down. We show up all dressed up and our photoraphers assitant says "oh you alls appointment is next week." LIES!!

I know when I got off the phone with her last week she said see you next week. It's not like she had someone else scheduled. She had just gone home. GET HER HAPPY ASS BACK UP HERE! IF SHE WANTS MY $1300. What follows is my thoughts (@&&$!*()@$^@!!##^&&%*^!!!!!!) censored for your own good.

I also got to find out that one of my childhood friends was killed last friday. He committed suicide. I haven't been told the reason. I really didn't want to ask. I went and viewed his body last night. I shouldn't have done that. I hadn't seen or talked to him in about 5 years, But always hoped I would see him again. He will be missed.

It was good to see his brothers who I hadn't seen in 5 years, and his mom who I hadn't seen in about 10. His family was like a second family to me.

2 months ago one of my other childhood friends youngest son was killed when he was hit by a car. I went to the funeral. He looked exactly like his dad when he was little.

Kinda wish bad things would stop happening to the people around me.

Top honors go to Gary Smith at Ciena (CIEN, news, msgs). His shareholders have been virtually wiped out -- losing 93% in the past four years. His compensation over that period: $41.2 million.

Jure Sola, the CEO and chairman at Sanmina-SCI (SANM, news, msgs) collected $26.4 million during the past four years while Sanmina shares fell 78%. The bulk of Sola's pay came in the form of a performance bonus of $19.9 million, paid for hitting one recent quarter's targets.

Well...

Nothing exciting happened in Spavinaw, no ghost no thumps no rattles. SUCK

Got up drove to spavinaw , exchanged there carbon. Drove back home about noon, played Warcraft most of the rest of the afternoon and ate pizza. :)

Saturday got a call that they were going to replace my Dad's peg tube becasue it was clogging up. If you don't kno what a peg tube is , its a tube used for nutrients when you can't eat. My father can now have soft foods by mouth but still has to take his medication through the tube. Well they had a tech go to the nurseing home to replace the tube and she got the orginal one out, but couldn't get the new one in ... So dad was taken to the Hospital to get it replaced , and that is where Saturday evening was spent. Made sure my dad got back to the nurseing home ok and then me and the lady caught a late showing of The Brothers Grimm. Meh It was ok, I think I expected more from it.. Good fairy tale all in all and try's to show where they got there stories from, but it was like all there stories came from this one story, the orginal Grimm's tales where folklore from diffrent provinces around Europe that they put there own spin on. See I expected to much.

Sunday went and met the pastor that is going to Marry us. Very nice guy very down to Earth. Came back hope grilled burgers had a few beers and watch "A lot like Love" Ladies pick, but is was pretty funny. Pretty much your normal Romantic comedy. Aston Kutcher and Amanda Pete.

Nothin Much this week . Going to the OU game this weekend then I leave for Memphis the next.

I started a new job mid June working for a plant that makes Activated carbon. Your asking yourself wth does activiated carbon do. Well many things. The water you drink. The carbon is what filters most of the high levels of things such as THM's or Tri halo methanes out of the water . Same goes for the beer you drink and the soda you drink. Its also used at other plants that relase harmful chemicals into the air. The carbon filters it to keep it from happening. The military also uses the carbon in such things as gas masks.
Well, my postion is that i get to go to our client sites oversee the instillation of the carbon and test it once its installed to make sure its not doing anything bad to there equipment or water. My title A&D(Applications & Development) Field Specialist. When I am not in the field me and my two other coworkes do experiments to see what new things carbon can be used for.

Anywho, Monday I got to travel to the exciting town of Spavinaw, OK to take a sample of some carbon. Don't know if anybody has been to Spavinaw, but there is nothing there but a Lake, and an Indian burial ground, which happens to be right next to where we are going.

We have to change the carbon in there filters tomorrow morning at 7AM and asked if tha would be a problem. The operator tells us no prob as long as "Bob" doesn't bother us. It seems ther water facilty is haunted by they think an indian from the burial ground. They said he just rattles things and you can feel somebody behind you when no one is there and he opens and shuts doors. So I was pretty much like SWEET.

This got me to thinking about the paranormal. Back in Highschool I used to collect books on the weird things that went on in OK and me and some friends would drive all over trying to see them. Ghost lights haunted highways etc. I enjoyed it immensly , and I thinking about doing it again on my next vacation.

Anyway, I have placed a link to TAPS The Atlantic Paranormal Society, they have some intresting info on urban legends and the paranormal, they also have a tv show, but i'm not so sure about it I've watched it a few times over the last year and it seems to focus to much on the people in the group rather than the investigation. But hey its TV.

So I'm pretty excited about tomorrow and I think I'll take my camera to see if anyhting intresting happens.

Well,

I'm back. not that anybody missed me. I took the old page down and blogger wouldn't let me use the smae name so the url has changed.

couple of changes mainly the background.

I had to many things going on (dad, new job, wedding, moving) to post much and I was working for the state so there wasn't much to post about. OH look at me i'm at my desk again wheeeeeeeeeeeee

Well now I have a new job, that lets me travel so hopefully more intresting things to talk about.

Wedding coming up in less than 2 months, and I'm pretty excited.

My dad is doing much better for those of you who knew what was going on.
